Summers Was An Early Cancel, but Inflation Apparently Wasn’t

“We have a generation of central bankers who are defining themselves by their wokeness,” said Mr. Summers, now a professor at Harvard University. “They’re defining themselves by how socially concerned they are. We’re in more danger than we’ve been during my career of losing control of inflation in the U.S.”

Larry Summers, as quoted in The Washington Times this week. Mr. Summers as you may recall, resigned as President of Harvard in 2006 after controversial comments regarding the aptitude of women in the science field, and as unidentified colleagues at the time noted, “bullying.” Let’s just say nothing is good here.
