Cove Street has been following Skechers (ticker: SKX) for many years. For a lot of that time, we were hesitant to invest because of the dual class share structure and lingering corporate governance concerns. However, after watching the company continue to grow the topline at a very impressive rate for many years and some ongoing improvements in the proxy statement, we finally became shareholders of SKX a couple of years ago. With that as the backdrop, I had the opportunity to return to the Chit Chat Money Podcast to discuss Cove Street’s position in Skechers.
