From time to time, our collective experience in idea and liquidity sourcing, business analysis, valuation, corporate finance, corporate governance, compensation schemes, and investor relations finds a collective home. There is much of this way behind the scenes because our goal is to make money and we are happy for companies to take all the credit for our focus.
In the case of RSSS, we did the work to understand the business model and were 91% prepared when a founding fund wanted out. We became the largest shareholder, Partner Eugene Robin took a seat on the board, changed the comp structure to align with shareholders, and was part of the process that brought the founding CEO up to the Board and a Board member with the right experience to become CEO. We think we are going to make a lot of money.
So, yes Mom, that is Eugene 2nd from the right ringing the bell.
